When I heard that Palm is going to come out with a brand new operating system, my first question was about iTunes. Personally, I use iTunes all of the time and for a new operating system to be introduced into the palm family, I needed to know that it was going to be compatible with iTunes.
Well, the WebOS 1.2.1 for the Palm Pre actually allows the users to sync their Palm Pre with their iTunes account! The new WebOS 1.2.1 is actually really fast too and the display will be high-quality and will show full-screen images and will actually enable the user to store more photos on their phones.
If you are looking for a brand new phone – you might want to consider getting yourself the Pre Palm!
The Samsung Intensity U450 is the latest phone featuring a full QWERTY keyboard which has been released lately. However, it is targeted at different users than some of its brethren. It is considered competition for such phones as the Motorola Rival and the LG enV3 — at least supposedly, because compared to the other two, the enV3 clearly comes out on top.
I have to be honest, I don’t know that I’m a big fan of the Samsung Intensity U450. For one thing, you only get to choose between two color schemes — grey and flaming red. This may not seem important to some of you, but it’s a big deal for a lot of girls out there.
Beyond that, it looks a little bit cheap, as you can see in the picture here. Reviewers also warn that the battery cover tends to feel quite breakable.
Okay, I think that Motorola needs to give the Razor a break. Come now – I have had a razor for years and years now and while I think that the phone itself is actually really cool … it is cheap! It does not have a touchscreen, barely can get online and it certainly does not have any of the newest applications that a lot of the newest phones have but still … Motorola always resorts back to the razor.
Now they have switched the name to the MOTO Titan and they are going to be releasing it in Korea – great. Might as well give you the specs for this new Motorola right? Measuring only 50mm thick, the handset sports a 2.2-inch 262k TFT internal screen, a 1.6-inch 65K external screen with touch-sensitive controls, a 2MP camera, a microSD card slot (up to 4GB), an MP3 player, SKT T-map GPS navigation, Video on Demand service support, a USB 2.0 interface, Bluetooth and supports both WCDMA2100 and GSM/HSDPA (900/1800/1900 MHz) connectivity’s.
All of that in one phone that everyone in the world probably has owned at one point in their life right? Great…
Oh MP3’s where have you gone? Legally, they have gone to Rhapsody and that is why this particular program as become so popular. So popular that the iPhone is actually going to be getting an app for it! The iPhone and iPod Touch are two of the things that can use the newest Rhapsody app and if it gets approved, iPhone and iPod Touch users will have access to all Rhapsodies’ 8-million tracks and all of its radio stations.
The great thing about Rhapsody is the fact that you will be able to create playlists on the fly or if you already have an existing account with Rhapsody, you will be able to sync it to the app … which is awesome! While Rhapsody To Go will be about $15.00 per month, to me – that is actually pretty cool.
The app itself though will be free and while the only downside seems that you need to be connected to Wi-Fi to get to your songs, the Rhapsody app is definitely anticipated!
When I first heard about watch phones I did not think that they would actually become something that people would want to buy. To be perfectly honest, I do not truly like watch phones, but that is just me – however, the newest LG GD910 Watchphone is a touchscreen and I have to say that it is pretty cool looking. It will be released in the UK only, which sort of sucks, but if you want – I’m sure you could get it in the states, no problem!
Now, onto the specs for the LG GD910 Watchphone: The watchphone features a scratch resistant touch-screen interface that makes writing text messages easy. Other specs include a built-in speaker, and an MP3/AAC player. Also, this watchphone is something different and unique – personally, I think of James Bond whenever I think about watch phones.
So if you want to be chic, cool and hip – James Bond style, you should look into the LG GD910 Watchphone!
Do you remember way back when, when we mentioned the Sony Ericsson T715a? Well, I hope you did not forget about it because finally – we have some more information about the Sony Ericsson T715a. This particular phone was undergoing a lot of testing by the FCC to see if the phone would be coming out and after that testing – the handset is finally approved! This particular slider is one of the coolest and while we do not know when it is going to be available … take a look at the specs.
The Sony Ericsson T715a features: a 2.2-inch QVGA display with 256K colors, a 3.2MP camera with Photo light, a new UI feature, a music player, a Stereo FM radio with RDS, Google Maps, a 90MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP. All of that combine with the fact that it is a Sony Ericsson brand and the phone itself looks cool? Awesome!
No word on pricing right now but I can promise that I will keep you posted, as I am keeping a hard eye on this phone!

When I really think about it – combining Samsung phones and AT&T as a service provider, I can honestly tell you is the best idea in the world! Not only is Samsung one of the leading phone companies in the world and are known for producing some of the finest phones in the world, but AT&T has been around forever and is a very, very good carrier. Cell phones these days are packed with technology and there seems to be a new one coming out everyday – take the Samsung Solstice A887 for example!

There was one phone that I was so excited to see released – it was the Telus HTC Touch Pro2. Now, right at this moment, this beautiful and awesome phone is available for sale at Best Buy. Now, if you are not familiar with the HTC brand, it has to be said that they produce some of the best phones in the world. The technology that is in packed into this particular phone is so hot … and outlined below!
Firstly, you should note that this phone is a slider and has a full keyboard. It also features a 3.2MP shooter with auto-focus, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, a microSD (HC) card slot, an FM radio with RDS and a 528Mhz Qualcomm CPU. Also, if you are looking for a speakerphone for your conference calls – you can hook onto HTC Straight Talk for any conference calls.
So really – this phone is by far the best and looks so cool and chic, you will never want to leave it behind!
If there is one phone that is by far the most anticipated, it is going to be the AT&T Nokia Surge. This phone, that comes out today mind you is an entry-level S60 phone, which is a slide-out. The phone connects to the 3G network and to be quite honest, it actually looks pretty damn cool. The specs on it, which we will get to in just a little while, are incredible and I have to say that the fact that this phone is an AT&T phone really puts my mind at ease.
Now, onto the specs of the AT&T Nokia Surge, this phone features: a 2.4-inch (240 x 320) LCD display, a 2MP shooter, A-GPS with AT&T Navigator support, and AT&T Video Share for video calls. You can also upload all sorts of photos and share them on Twitter, YouTube, Flickr and Facebook and to me … to do all of that on a cell phone is incredible!
This phone does require a two-year contract to get the $79.99 price, but it is well-worth it … I promise!
The iPhone has honestly taken over a lot of the world’s population. Everyone in the world seems to have one of these phones and while I do not – I am definitely going to be getting one sooner rather than later. What we hardly ever talk about are some of the iPhone apps that are available. To be completely honest, the iPhone is by far one of the only phones that has a ton of different apps that you can download from the apps store.
While I have never been in the iPhone apps store, it is still pretty amazing how many apps there are out there. However, for the iPhone 3.0, there is going to be something different right on your phone. Facebook! That’s right, you will be able to access your Facebook account from your iPhone and there are going to be so many different features, you will lose your head! Some of the new features include: Homescreen, News Feed, Notes, Pages, Events (with the ability to RSVP) and enhanced notifications, which are all pretty damn good!
So keep an eye out for Facebook on your iPhone! It is definitely going to be one of the coolest things in the world!
