I have to say that I was waiting for a company to come out with a waterproof camera phone. Finally, Fujitsu has done it with the brand new Fujitsu F-10B. This is a clamshell phone that is actually pretty cool in the long run … not just because it is waterproof. It is also a phone that has a 12MP camera with face recognition – that is not something that a lot of cell phones have, I can tell you that.
Another great thing about the camera on this phone is the autofocus as well as the 6.2X super zoom. Other features of the Fujitsu F-10B also include a GPS as well as a Dolby Mobile for 5.1 channel surround output and GSM international roaming. You can use this particular phone under about 1.5 meters of water, which is fantastic if you love the water!
Right now – no word on pricing or when it will be released, but soon enough, I can promise you that!
The Casio Exilim officially emerged earlier this year, in the summer. Created for Verizon, it has an enviable 5.1 megapixel camera with full features — and that is pretty much the extent of what the phone has to offer.
All right, that may be a slight exaggeration, but users and reviewers alike tend to say that this is a camera that just happens to be attached to a phone, rather than a phone that just happens to include a great camera.
What I mean is, it does not really appear that the Exilim C721’s other features match the features of the camera.
It has the basics, of course — it plays music, it can browse the web, it has Bluetooth capability, yadda, yadda, yadda — but those features are not great. Compared with the camera, they are practically dog food.
So really, this phone is ideal for people who like to take stellar pictures, but do not really need all that much out of their cell phones.
The Samsung Moment M900 was released for Sprint and it runs on the Google Android operating system. As well, it integrates Google Maps, Google Search, YouTube, Gmail, and many other applications which are available on Google’s Android Market. It has a 3.2 inch AMOLED touch screen which provides crisp colors and wide viewing angles. The handset gets its power from an 800 MHz processor with Wi Fi capabilities as well as integrated GPS navigation.
The phone also features a 3.2 megapixel camera; it is built in, has auto focus, a flash, and a camcorder. The Moment has stereo Bluetooth 2.0 wireless technology; Sprint TV with both live and on demand programs; access to popular social networking sites; memory which can be expanded up to 32GB; a media player; visual voicemail; and tons of other features as well.
When I heard that Palm is going to come out with a brand new operating system, my first question was about iTunes. Personally, I use iTunes all of the time and for a new operating system to be introduced into the palm family, I needed to know that it was going to be compatible with iTunes.
Well, the WebOS 1.2.1 for the Palm Pre actually allows the users to sync their Palm Pre with their iTunes account! The new WebOS 1.2.1 is actually really fast too and the display will be high-quality and will show full-screen images and will actually enable the user to store more photos on their phones.
If you are looking for a brand new phone – you might want to consider getting yourself the Pre Palm!
The Samsung Intensity U450 is the latest phone featuring a full QWERTY keyboard which has been released lately. However, it is targeted at different users than some of its brethren. It is considered competition for such phones as the Motorola Rival and the LG enV3 — at least supposedly, because compared to the other two, the enV3 clearly comes out on top.
I have to be honest, I don’t know that I’m a big fan of the Samsung Intensity U450. For one thing, you only get to choose between two color schemes — grey and flaming red. This may not seem important to some of you, but it’s a big deal for a lot of girls out there.
Beyond that, it looks a little bit cheap, as you can see in the picture here. Reviewers also warn that the battery cover tends to feel quite breakable.
Okay, I think that Motorola needs to give the Razor a break. Come now – I have had a razor for years and years now and while I think that the phone itself is actually really cool … it is cheap! It does not have a touchscreen, barely can get online and it certainly does not have any of the newest applications that a lot of the newest phones have but still … Motorola always resorts back to the razor.
Now they have switched the name to the MOTO Titan and they are going to be releasing it in Korea – great. Might as well give you the specs for this new Motorola right? Measuring only 50mm thick, the handset sports a 2.2-inch 262k TFT internal screen, a 1.6-inch 65K external screen with touch-sensitive controls, a 2MP camera, a microSD card slot (up to 4GB), an MP3 player, SKT T-map GPS navigation, Video on Demand service support, a USB 2.0 interface, Bluetooth and supports both WCDMA2100 and GSM/HSDPA (900/1800/1900 MHz) connectivity’s.
All of that in one phone that everyone in the world probably has owned at one point in their life right? Great…
Oh MP3’s where have you gone? Legally, they have gone to Rhapsody and that is why this particular program as become so popular. So popular that the iPhone is actually going to be getting an app for it! The iPhone and iPod Touch are two of the things that can use the newest Rhapsody app and if it gets approved, iPhone and iPod Touch users will have access to all Rhapsodies’ 8-million tracks and all of its radio stations.
The great thing about Rhapsody is the fact that you will be able to create playlists on the fly or if you already have an existing account with Rhapsody, you will be able to sync it to the app … which is awesome! While Rhapsody To Go will be about $15.00 per month, to me – that is actually pretty cool.
The app itself though will be free and while the only downside seems that you need to be connected to Wi-Fi to get to your songs, the Rhapsody app is definitely anticipated!
When I first heard about watch phones I did not think that they would actually become something that people would want to buy. To be perfectly honest, I do not truly like watch phones, but that is just me – however, the newest LG GD910 Watchphone is a touchscreen and I have to say that it is pretty cool looking. It will be released in the UK only, which sort of sucks, but if you want – I’m sure you could get it in the states, no problem!
Now, onto the specs for the LG GD910 Watchphone: The watchphone features a scratch resistant touch-screen interface that makes writing text messages easy. Other specs include a built-in speaker, and an MP3/AAC player. Also, this watchphone is something different and unique – personally, I think of James Bond whenever I think about watch phones.
So if you want to be chic, cool and hip – James Bond style, you should look into the LG GD910 Watchphone!
Do you remember way back when, when we mentioned the Sony Ericsson T715a? Well, I hope you did not forget about it because finally – we have some more information about the Sony Ericsson T715a. This particular phone was undergoing a lot of testing by the FCC to see if the phone would be coming out and after that testing – the handset is finally approved! This particular slider is one of the coolest and while we do not know when it is going to be available … take a look at the specs.
The Sony Ericsson T715a features: a 2.2-inch QVGA display with 256K colors, a 3.2MP camera with Photo light, a new UI feature, a music player, a Stereo FM radio with RDS, Google Maps, a 90MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP. All of that combine with the fact that it is a Sony Ericsson brand and the phone itself looks cool? Awesome!
No word on pricing right now but I can promise that I will keep you posted, as I am keeping a hard eye on this phone!

When I really think about it – combining Samsung phones and AT&T as a service provider, I can honestly tell you is the best idea in the world! Not only is Samsung one of the leading phone companies in the world and are known for producing some of the finest phones in the world, but AT&T has been around forever and is a very, very good carrier. Cell phones these days are packed with technology and there seems to be a new one coming out everyday – take the Samsung Solstice A887 for example!
